Adept has broadened its suite of casino floor management tools, moving beyond its well-known dispatch system to offer new solutions that directly affect player experience and casino operations.
For more than a decade, Adept’s Mobile Dispatch System (AMDS) has enabled casino staff to respond swiftly to alerts from player tracking systems, kiosks, and other sources across over 50 casino properties. Originally focused on coordinating service responses, AMDS has evolved to include features such as Electronic MEAL Book, Down Game Log, Preventative Maintenance, Host Notifications, and Drink Alerts, supporting daily slot operations management.
Building on this foundation, Adept is expanding its portfolio to address additional operational challenges faced by casino teams. These new products aim to improve staff communication, progressive meter readings, parts inventory management, and jackpot celebrations, all of which can enhance the overall casino floor environment for players.
ProgressiveIQ is one such tool designed to digitize the traditionally manual process of recording slot machine meter readings. Employees can use mobile devices to log meter values, flag exceptions with notes or photos, and automatically calculate liabilities. This streamlines data collection, reduces errors, and facilitates auditing, which supports accurate payout tracking and machine availability—key factors for player trust and satisfaction.
Another product in development, Vault, focuses on parts inventory management. By tracking cabinet configurations, parts repair status, and procurement, Vault helps technicians quickly locate necessary components. This reduces slot machine downtime and minimizes disruptions to players caused by maintenance delays.
Enhancing staff coordination, AdeptConnect offers voice, text, and image messaging capabilities among casino employees. This complements AMDS by improving communication flow and task assignment, potentially leading to faster responses to player requests and operational issues.
Show Control addresses how casinos highlight jackpot wins. Following the federal increase in the slot jackpot reporting threshold from $1,200 to $2,000 in 2026, fewer machines require lockups for handpays, reducing visible signals of big wins. Show Control enables operators to automatically trigger digital signage, video, and other effects when qualifying jackpots occur, maintaining the excitement of a win without interrupting gameplay.
Mahesh Jituri, Adept’s president and CEO, emphasized the role of operator feedback in shaping these developments: “Our customers have helped shape AMDS over the years. These new products build on those conversations, addressing the challenges their teams bring to us beyond dispatch.“ This customer-driven approach ensures that each product solves practical operational problems encountered on the casino floor.
For players, these advancements translate into smoother floor operations, quicker service, and enhanced visibility of significant wins, all contributing to a more engaging and transparent casino experience.
