Western Canada Lottery Adds 720 New Video Lottery Terminals

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) has signed an agreement to add 720 new Sierra27 video lottery terminals (VLTs) across its network in 2026, aiming to enhance player experience with hardware and games designed specifically for Canadian players.

The new terminals will be supplied by IGT Canada Solutions Limited, marking the second consecutive year IGT has been selected through WCLC’s competitive VLT procurement process. WCLC manages lottery and gaming activities across six Canadian provinces and territories, making this expansion significant for players in those regions.

The Sierra27 VLTs are designed to improve player comfort and engagement. Each terminal features two high-definition 27-inch screens, a 13.3-inch player panel with dual bash buttons, and a wireless inductive charger. In addition to hardware upgrades, the Sierra27 terminals come with a large library of games tailored specifically for Canadian players. Popular titles include Big City 5’s Diamond, Tiki Tiki Tiki Mayhem, and Cash Climb Garden of Hesperides.
