Adept USA’s Mobile Dispatch System is transforming how casinos manage slot machine maintenance and guest services, aiming to reduce machine downtime and enhance the player experience.
Casino floors are busy environments where operators must coordinate attendants, technicians, beverage services, and host notifications simultaneously. Adept USA addresses these challenges with its Adept Mobile Dispatch System (AMDS), a mobile-centric platform that routes real-time alerts from casino management systems directly to the appropriate staff members.
AMDS was the first mobile dispatch system introduced in 2010 and has since been adopted by over 50 casino properties across the U.S. The system captures real-time events from slot machines and other data sources, then delivers those alerts to attendants and technicians promptly. This rapid communication helps minimize machine downtime, ensuring players face fewer interruptions during their gaming sessions.
A key feature of AMDS is the ability for attendants to create manual alerts that escalate machine issues to technicians when additional assistance is needed. As Adept Head of Growth Eshan Jituri explains, “Attendants can also create manual alerts to escalate machine issues to a technician when additional assistance is needed.“ This functionality supports faster problem resolution and smoother casino floor operations.
Unlike some dispatch systems that require casinos to modify their workflows to fit the software, AMDS offers high-level configurations that adapt to each operator’s natural processes. Jituri notes, “We have a lot of different configurations that allow gaming operators to operate as they want to operate.” This flexibility helps casinos maintain efficient service without disrupting established routines.
The system also supports other casino services such as beverage server dispatch and host notifications, contributing to a more coordinated and seamless guest experience. Additionally, AMDS includes business intelligence tools that track machine downtime and staff performance, providing operators with actionable insights to optimize floor management.
AMDS has evolved through nine iterations driven by operator feedback, with new features continuously added to meet the specific needs of slot departments. The company emphasizes that its technology is “built by gaming operators for gaming operators,“ aiming to become the preferred technology partner for slot management teams.
The origins of AMDS trace back to a custom software project for SugarHouse Casino (now Rivers Casino Philadelphia) in 2010. Adept USA developed the system within three months to meet the casino’s launch timeline. Following its initial success, the system was adopted by sister properties and expanded to serve a growing number of casinos nationwide.
For players, the practical impact of AMDS is fewer disruptions during play and faster resolution of machine issues. This contributes to a more enjoyable and efficient gaming environment. The system’s role in improving operational efficiency also indirectly supports responsible gambling by maintaining a well-managed floor where players can focus on their experience.
