Nominations Open for 2026 10 Women Rising in Gaming

CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women have opened nominations for the 2026 Class of 10 Women Rising in Gaming, an annual program that highlights the achievements of women across the gaming industry.

The 10 Women Rising in Gaming program celebrates women who are making significant contributions across all sectors of the gaming industry. Eligible nominees come from land-based and online gaming, sports betting, lottery, and professional services such as legal, accounting, and marketing that support the industry. This initiative provides players and consumers with insight into the increasing diversity and leadership shaping the gaming sector.

Recognizing women leaders in gaming can have practical benefits for players and bettors. Diverse leadership often encourages the development of more inclusive and responsible gaming environments. This focus can lead to stronger consumer protections and initiatives aimed at reducing gambling-related harm, which directly impacts player welfare.

Nominations for the 2026 class are open until July 24 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The honorees will be celebrated at the pre-G2E Day Zero Party at Resorts World Las Vegas on September 27. This event highlights the importance of diversity and inclusion in the gaming industry and offers an opportunity for players and industry professionals to learn about the leaders shaping gaming’s future.

Global Gaming Women (GGW), founded by the American Gaming Association, supports women across all gaming segments by fostering professional development and networking opportunities. GGW’s mission aligns with promoting player safety and responsible gambling through leadership diversity. Their work helps create a safer and more equitable gaming environment for all participants.

As GGW celebrates its 10-year anniversary, we are proud to continue spotlighting the women whose leadership, innovation and contributions are shaping the future of gaming, said Pamela Buckley, Executive Vice President of Global Gaming Women.

CDC Gaming, the Americas’ leading media brand covering the gaming industry, partners with GGW to present this program for the fifth consecutive year. CDC Gaming’s broad coverage includes daily newsletters, trade show reports, and video interviews, providing players and industry stakeholders with up-to-date information on gaming developments. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to elevating women in gaming and promoting responsible practices.

Players interested in nominating a candidate or learning more about the program can visit the CDC Gaming website. A list of previous honorees and other Global Gaming Women activities is available on CDC Gaming’s GGW Bulletin Board.

This initiative complements ongoing efforts within the industry to enhance responsible gambling and player protection. By highlighting female leaders, the program encourages the adoption of policies that prioritize player well-being and fair play.
